Do you outsource your editing?
One thing that sets me apart is that I edit every single image myself. This is why I am very intentional and only take on a small number of weddings and elopements a year to ensure I spent all the dedicated time with each of my couples!
How much do you charge for travel?
Travel within 2 hours from Newport WA is included in all wedding collections and sessions. If you are inquiry about a destination location within the US or internationally, I will send you a custom quote that includes my travel based on the time of year and date. Airfare, Airbnb/hotel, rental car, and food.
How many photos do we receive?
I whole heartedly believe that quality over quantity is part of your experience when collaborating with me. You can expect between 50-80 for sessions and 300-600 delivered images. I curate your gallery to tell your story of you day.
How do you work at a wedding?
Our relationship is symbiotic, therefore I want you to know I'm there, directing you in an authentic way, because this is your story! I will always capture those candid moments you and your guests didn't see coming!
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, but only for military and first responders. Photography is an investment, but my artwork is more than just showing up and taking wedding photos. I am here throughout the entire process and photography your wedding artistically and the in a way you want it captured.
How do we book?
My booking system is so easy! Simply fill out my contact form and in less than 24 hours I will be in touch to set up a zoom call. Once you have reviewed my price guide, all questions have been answered and you're ready to officially book me, I will send you a retainer invoice and contract to sign. From there, you'll be sent helpful guides throughout the months or year till the big day along with us scheduling several planning calls or coffee meetings to go over details, etc.
What do we wear to our engagement session?
No need to stress about this one. I've got you covered! Once we set a date for your session, I will send you my style and location guide filled with ideas and inspiration.
What do the planning meetings look like
Throughout the year or months leading up to your day, We will get together either over zoom or a coffee date to discuss any important details. I'm available through email or text if you have any questions during our time together. I will be sending out the first check in email at 6 months to see how everything is going and if you have any questions. Two months before the day I will send out your wedding questionnaire. By this time you will already know who will be attending, have all your vendors lined up and details pretty much completed. This is when I will create your timeline and portrait list, set up a meeting to go over it and any other final details that may have changed.
Our wedding is unique, do you offer custom quotes?
Yes! I love unique and intimate weddings! I have 3 base collections loaded with so many amazing perks but if your needing in between hours or more hours, I would love to create a custom wedding collection for you! My al la carte options are there as well to add on to any collection or quote. I don't have anything in my collections already that you wouldn't look forward to having as part of your wedding memories.
We have no idea where to start?
Hey, this is your first time planning a wedding, you shouldn't know where to start. Between the blogs and advice columns on countless wedding resource sites, it can get overwhelming at times. My first suggestion is to hire a professional planner. Their job is to eat, sleep and breath your wedding and know everything you need to stay organized and non-stressed. Secondly, I provide all my couples with a wedding guide filled with a photographer's perspective on weddings. This guide has tips, ideas and inspiration to help you navigate your venue with ease and to create a perfect photography experience.
